Pencil Skirt Love

Something about that thigh split gets me every time.  I have too many of these sneaky thigh split pencil skirts. I love the silhouette and length of a pencil skirt, but the front split always add just a hint of sexy.  The split does kill the look for the office for me, but it is a cute option for a nice dinner or date night.  Paired this with a black bodysuit and a blazer on the shoulders in case the evening gets chilly and then finished it off with barely there sandals. Get into the details below. Thanks for stopping by and  stay stylish ladies!

Hello Autumn

My favorite color for the fall has been the burgundy/wine/oxblood hue for the past couple of years, and this year is no different.  The color is once again hot for the season, and to my delight, some of my fave stores have quite an offering. You'll see quite a lot of it in future posts.  As for this post, my affinity for burgundy has led me to explore other deep berry colors - enter this dress.  I picked up this beauty from New York & Company during one of their 50% off sales (I love deals!).  It doesn't require an arsenal of accessories as the print is a movement by itself.  I decided to pair this with simple nude triple strap sandals and a nude clutch to keep the dress center stage.  By itself, or paired with a blazer or cute trench, I know this dress will be in heavy rotation in my closet.   Get into the details below and thanks for stopping by!  What's your fave color for fall?

Remnants of Summer

Somehow this post got lost in the shuffle of summer. Although fall is now upon us, what better way to exit summer than with a little sunshine?  I picked this skirt up from H&M in early spring.  It makes such the statement that I decided to keep the rest of the outfit simple.  I also paired it with red heels later, and the color combo was super cute. Get into the details below! What are you looking forward to with fall fashion?

Cake By The Ocean

It's the last day of summer, and I wanted to get a quick post in from my final summer trip.  I went on a girl's trip to Destin for my sister's birthday a couple of weeks ago, and it was the perfect end to summer sixteen.  The weather was amazing, and as we ate birthday cake across from the ocean, I found out this song was one of my sister's current faves - how appropriate.

For my last beach getaway, I decided to pack this fun frock I picked up during the Zara summer sale.  It just screamed take me somewhere sunny and breezy.  Everything about it is effortless, from the thin straps, to the flowy shape.  Plus ya'll know I love myself a maxi with a hint of leg. And the Color! Can we get into this ocean on a dress they created! Check out some pics below and thanks for stopping by.  Who's ready for some fall fashion?

Office Style: A Little Color

I took a few trips and got a little behind in my blog posts, but I'm back and focused.  And it's office style time. Every  time I wear this shirt to the office, I get a lot of compliments so I thought why not make it a blog post.  A couple of things have made this a regular piece in my wardrobe.  The cut is comfortable and super forgiving.  It's loose and flowy, but the slits on the side still give it a little shape and modern feel.  Then, although I tend to lean towards solids, I love the playfulness of this print.  Cute but not overly complicated with a pop of color.  Paired with black pants and some pumps, it becomes an easy office look.  It is a little sheer, so a little cami gives it the coverage needed. Get into the details below, and thanks for stopping by. Hope you're soaking up this last little bit of summer cause fall fashion is already here, and I'm here for it!
