Flirty 30!!!

For my birthday weekend, I decided to step up the flirt.  I scored this sexy little number from ASOS, and it was perfect for my style. The low cut neckline showed off just enough decolletage, and the midi hem allowed the look to still retain a classy feel.  And can we get into the back!!! Love, love, love this lace detailing and cut-out, ultra sexy and chic. Simplistic two-strap sandals, pulled the look together.  I think I welcomed in 30 well, and I'm excited for what this year will bring!

Black Out

It's a black out! As the temps are slowly warming up, I knew my opportunities for wearing this jacket were running short.  I decided on an all black look to really play up the jacket.  I've always had a thing for peplum and this jacket has just the right amount of flare for me.  I also like the contrast of textures within the jacket.  I continued the contrasting texture theme in my pumps, which mix leather and suede.  A simple cotton pencil skirt finished off the the look.  I love the exposed zipper on the skirt, which can be worn in the front or the back - I love a versatile piece! Because of the the super clingy material of a stretch knit skirt, I reserve this skirt for after work hours - a little too much for the office. :) Hope you enjoy! Happy Hump Day!

Feeling Blue

My love for sheath dresses knows no limits! They are the easiest way to create a classic chic look - something I look for in styling my office outfits.  The details of this one quickly caught my eye.  How awesome are the gold zippers?! They added the perfect touch of edge. Then the satin panel down the middle added just enough sophistication.  I decided to pair this with a classic tweed coat and grey pumps (random note, I love how the word grey looks when spelled with an "e" - just looks more stylish to me :). I wanted to make sure the dress remained the focal piece.  Finally, as typical for my style, I kept my accessories minimal with simple earrings and a watch.  Hope you like the combo! Enjoy the rest of your week - it's almost Friday!

Statement Coat

One of my favorite things about winter is the opportunity to wear beautiful coats.  This coat is by far my favorite.  With it's bold color and versatility in styling, it will be a staple in my closet for years to come.  I especially love the feminine details of it - the higher hem in front and waist tie that gives it shape. For the rest of my outfit, I decided to go monotone with a grey on grey look.  I caught these boots on a pretty good sale! They were a great way to get the look for less in place of the Stuart Weitzman boots that have been so popular this season  (but are no where near my budget).  Check out outfit deets below and Happy Sunday! Have a great week!
