Sheer and Leopard

I love subtle sexy looks, and thoughtfully done sheer usually gets me there. I love the small details of the dress - the double side slits, waist tie,  and sheer bottom.  A classic camel coat pulled the look together and leopard pumps added a bit of excitement to the outfit.  I've never been big on accessories, so I went light with just a watch and earrings.  See outfit deets below. Throwback Birthday Behavior

 In honor of my upcoming 30th, I decided to review the festivities from last year.  I did things a little differently, so instead of looking for the most trendy lounge, I settled on a game night and a little brunch.  To top it off, since I was already going to New Orleans for business, I rounded out my big day with a Cajun style celebration!

 A little brunch at this cute spot in Atlanta called Murphy's.

And then on to New Orleans for a little jazz, a little comfort food, and a few of those infamous NOLA cocktails.

It was all so much fun... Can't wait for this year's celebration!

A Puerto Rican Getaway

 

I finally got around to posting pics from my awesome trip to Puerto Rico earlier this year.  This was a girls trip in honor of my bestie's birthday, and we had a blast!!!  Puerto Rico is absolutely beautiful and the perfect spot for a getaway.  From beaches and rain forests to historic sites, casinos, and nightlife,  there was plenty to get into.  Oh, and did I mention the food was AMAZING?! Check out a few snaps from the trip!

 

 

Old San Juan was absolutely beautiful.  Gorgeous architecture and full of history and culture.

 

 

 

 

This court dedicated to Carmelo Anthony really stood out in the midst of the historic sites of Old San Juan.

 

Our visit to El Morro made for some great views and exploration.

 

 

 

Although it looks pretty ominous behind me, it turned out to be quite a beautiful day.

 

These rocks on our beach had us feeling like supermodels! :)
 

 

 

El Yunque, the rainforest in Puerto Rico, was absolutely beautiful.  I surprised myself and ventured into the water.  As a non-swimmer, I figured this would be the only time I would have this experience; but now having done it, I think I'd do it again.  The water was safely shallow but freezing cold because of the altitude.  All around wonderful trip.
