Two In One

This dress was a fun find, and although it came in both black and burgundy, you know I had to pick my favorite hue for fall. The mix of textures gives it the illusion of a two piece skirt, blouse combination, with the ease of slipping on one piece.  The waist sash adds a slimming, interesting detail.  I decided to pair it with neutral accessories since the dress is already a movement by itself.  Putting an outfit together doesn't always have to be super involved, sometimes you just let the clothes do the work.  Get into the details below and thanks for stopping by!

Pleated

Pleats have once again made it into the trends for fall.  They were pretty popular last year, but this year they are everywhere.  Cue this pleated number from none other than New York & Company, a hot spot for me recently.  I love the thigh split (although it makes wearing it in professional settings difficult). Then the fact that it's black makes it all the more sleek.  I paired it with a high neck sleeveless top (I hate saying turtleneck) and mesh French Connection pumps I picked up on sale from DSW.  Now if I can only figure out how to get the creases out from being folded.  Learn from me and pay attention to those details.... One battle at a time, but nonetheless it came together. Get into the details below and stay stylish ladies!

Girls Love Skirts With Pockets

I got all of the compliments when I wore this skirt! The full, A-line silhouette gives vintage vibes, but the color scheme is perfectly on trend for fall. Plus it has pockets! This is another gem I picked up from the Eva Mendes collection of New York & Company.  Skirts like these are perfect when you're looking to balance out proportions as they create a waist and flare out to create fullness on the bottom.  It's also great for work - professional with personality (pretty much what I try to accomplish with my office wear).  I made this look a little more casual with a scoop neck fitted tee and a rope necklace.  Finished it off with burgundy pumps.  Get into more details below! As always, thanks for stopping by, and stay classy my friends!

Proportions

Who says you can't bring fun colors into fall?  For this post I decided to take a break from dresses and skirts and style this lively shirt I picked up from H&M.  Played a little with proportions here. The skinny jeans balanced out the length of the shirt and the heels helped to elongate my legs and elevate the overall look.  This is a little different than my day to day style, but I sometimes like to play with lengths and colors. Fun look that is great for transitioning seasons and getting a little more wear out of summer sandals.  Get into the details below!

Pencil Skirt Love

Something about that thigh split gets me every time.  I have too many of these sneaky thigh split pencil skirts. I love the silhouette and length of a pencil skirt, but the front split always add just a hint of sexy.  The split does kill the look for the office for me, but it is a cute option for a nice dinner or date night.  Paired this with a black bodysuit and a blazer on the shoulders in case the evening gets chilly and then finished it off with barely there sandals. Get into the details below. Thanks for stopping by and  stay stylish ladies!
